LSLA Historical Committee

Purpose

The mission of the LSLA Historical Committee is to chronicle and share historical information about the lake, events on the lake, and its residents. This can take a variety of forms from interviewing individuals, sharing photographs, identifying historical places or locations, and more. The Committee will then make that available to our community including local historical societies.

Through The Years

To celebrate the LSLA Centennial in 2024, the committee created and published a book covering some of the lake’s rich past along with the help of the community, pulling together historical maps, images, anecdotes, biographies of famous lake residents, newspaper articles, and more to entertain and inform our lake community about the history of Little Sebago.
