Courtesy Boat Inspections
The Purpose
The purpose of Courtesy Boat Inspectors at the boat launch is to inspect boats both entering and leaving the lake to locate and identify any plants on boats or trailers, and to remove these plants prior to the boat entering the lake or leaving the boat launch. The Inspectors also encourage boaters to follow any new laws they may be unaware of, as well as educating about invasive species found in Little Sebago, and those on watch list. Brochures provided by LEA are distributed as available to further assist boaters.
