Our Purpose
- Inspect boats entering the lake to locate and identify any plants on boats or trailers; remove plants prior to boat entering the lake.
- Inspect boats leaving the lake to locate and identify any plants on boats or trailers; remove plants prior to boat leaving the boat launch.
- Encourage boaters to follow new State law – clean, drain, dry – prior to leaving the boat launch
- Educate lake residents & boaters about invasive species, ones known to be in Little Sebago and those on watch list
- Distribute brochures provided by LEA
Number of boats entering/exiting the lake:
- 2,229 watercraft
- 439 (20%) Paddleboards or kayaks
- 171 (10%) had no Stickers
- 41 (2%) had no registration
