On August 22, 2024, the Little Sebago Milfoil Militia team met with Jason Smith from Maine Freshwater Exploration Going Deep to demonstrate an underwater drone to see if it is something we might want to add to our program techniques.  We believe this will be the wave of the future.  In the following video, you will now be able to see what takes place during the removal process.  The DEP was present for their regular yearly visit and was impressed with the drone. They may want to use it for future training purposes.
