Little Sebago Lake Association Needs Your Help  News Story
Tuesday, July 18, 2006

Our 13 member board has one vacancy and we are currently looking for a new member who has interests or expertise in the following areas:
• Political background to act as our liaison person in relationships with town and state.
• Communications background in regards to creating newspaper articles and informing the media of issues and events within our organization.
• Grant writing to assist in our on going efforts to fund milfoil mitigation projects.
• Computer skills to assist in the compiling of information in areas of membership, volunteer co-ordination and documentation of information within the association.

Our meetings are held monthly on the second Tuesday of every month, usually lasting about 2.5 hours in duration. The mission of the Little Sebago Lake Association is to restore, protect, and preserve our lake's water quality and fragile ecosystem--now and in the future. We will create and nurture a community of lake stewards, always mindful that human needs for recreation and renewal must be balanced with the needs of the natural environment.

If you would like to be part of this wonderful organization, please submit a letter of interest and a brief resume to Carol Ann Doucette, 333 Mt. Hunger Shore Rd. Windham Maine. 04062
